Return a unit to service

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Equipment | Equipment. The Display Equipment screen appears.
2. Click OOS . The Units Out of Service display screen appears.
3. If you want to change the time zone the out-of-service times are displayed in:
• Select the new Time Zone. The OOS Time will change appropriately.
4. Right-click on the unit to be returned to service and select Change Status. The Time Zone will first be validated.

   Time Zone defaults to your facility's time zone, but if you are not assigned to a facility it will be blank. In this case, you will need to enter a time zone before you can make the change. If you have a facility but you blank out the time zone field, the system will fill it in with your facility's time zone before you can make a change. If the time zone is invalid, you will need to correct it before you can make a change. Note that you can still enter a different time zone than your facility's default; this changes the times on your panel when changing the unit.

5. When the time zone is acceptable, the Equipment Service Status change screen appears.
6. Select the Date and type in the Time for the status change.
7. Click Enter . You return to the Units Out of Service display screen where the unit will be removed from the list of out-of-service units.
