Permit types table

Various kinds of licenses may be required for different units, e.g. automobile license, truck license, trailer license.

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Tables --> | Administration Tables | Equipment | Permit Types. The Permit Types change screen appears.
2. Click Add . The Permit Types add screen appears.
3. Fill in the fields as required.

   Permit Typeis a 3-character code identifying a specific type of permit or license.

   Descriptionis a brief description of the permit type.

   Program Codeidentifies the PM program used for MOT (Ministry of Transport) inspections. It is optional. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the program from a list.

   Contract Sectionis a specific contract section that applies to this type of permit. It is optional. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the section from a list.

4. Click Enter to save the permit types.
5. Click Exit to return to the menu.
