Features table

This table is used to maintain all the special features that could be installed on an equipment unit. These items may affect maintenance procedures or requirements for the units they are installed on.

  1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Tables --> | Administration Tables | Equipment | Features. The Feature Types display screen appears.
  2. Click Change change.jpg. The Maintain Feature Type change screen appears.
  3. Click Add plus.jpg. The Maintain Feature Type add screen appears.
  4. Fill in the fields as required.
  5. Click Enter enter.jpg to save the features.
  6. Click Change change.jpg to return to the Maintain Feature Type change screen.
  7. To work with allowed values for a feature:
    1. Right-click on the feature and select Change Allowed Values. The Edit Allowed Values change screen appears.
    2. Click Add plus.jpg. The Edit Allowed Values add screen appears.
    3. Fill in the fields as required.
    4. Click Enter enter.jpg to save the allowed values.
    5. Click Exit exit.jpg to return to the Maintain Feature Type change screen.
  8. Click Exit exit.jpg twice to return to the menu.
