Equipment maintenance sources

Equipment units may not be maintained by the assigned facility. If this is the case, the maintenance source must be identified.

1. At the EMMS main menu, click on the Equipment button. The Display Equipment screen appears.
2. Right-click on the unit and select Maintained By. The Equipment Maintained By Source screen appears.
3. Click Add . The Equipment Maintained By Source add screen appears.
4. Fill in the fields as required.

   Dateis the date the maintenance source goes into effect. It is possible to enter future changes of maintenance source by entering future dates.

   Maint Sourceidentifies where the maintenance is performed for the specified unit. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the maintenance source from a list.

5. Click Enter to save the maintenance source.
6. Click Exit three times to return to the menu.
