Equipment classifications

All classifications defined for an equipment group are copied to the unit automatically. However, units within a group might have different or additional classifications.

1. At the EMMS main menu, click the Equipment button. The Display Equipment screen appears.
2. Right-click on the unit and select Action List. The Equipment Actions screen appears.
3. Click Classifications. The Display Equipment Classification screen appears.
4. Click Change . The Edit Equipment Classification change screen appears.
5. Click Add . The Edit Equipment Classification add screen appears.
6. Fill in the fields as required.

   Classis the classification the unit belongs to. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the classification from a list.

   Sub-classis the sub-classification that the unit belongs to. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the sub-class from a list.

7. Click Enter to save the classifications.
8. Click Exit three times to return to the Display Equipment screen.
