Adjust a permit rate

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Equipment | Work With Unit Permits. The Work With Permits by Unit display screen appears.
2. Right-click on the permit and select Rate Adjust. The Permit Rate Adjustment enter screen appears.
3. Fill in the fields as required.

   Cancel Adjusted Permitidentifies whether or not the adjusted permit should be cancelled. If No is selected, both permits will be active.

   End Dateis the date the new permit expires.

   New Permit Numberis the new number on the permit.

   Permit Cost Tois the new permit cost, if applicable, to 2 decimal places.

   Rate Category Tois the new permit rate category, if applicable. You can click on the Prompt button to select the category from a list.

   Reason Codeidentifies why the adjustment is being made. You can click on the Prompt button to select the reason from a list.

   Start Dateis the date the adjustment/new permit goes into effect.

4. Click Enter . A new permit is created for the unit that is a copy of the previous permit except for status (E = entry), the to rate category, and the from date, which is set to the new permit start date. This new permit will be processed at period end along with the rest of the adjustments and renewals.
