Descriptionis a brief description of the permit.
Effective Dateis the date the permit goes into effect.
Expiry Dateis the date the permit will expire.
Facilityis
the domicile facility for the unit. You can click on the Prompt
button to select the facility
from a list.
HVUT Categoryidentifies
the heavy vehicle use tax category to which the permit belongs,if
applicable. This is for licenses only. When an HVUT category is
applicable, the license weights also need to be entered. You can
click on the Prompt button to select
the category from a list.
IRP Fleetis
the International Registration Plan (IRP) fleet to use for the
unit. It is only allowed if the plate type is P - prorated. It
is mandatory if the plate type is P and the business parameter
IRP Fleet Required For Prorated Plates is Yes. You can click on
the Prompt
button to select the fleet from a list.
Owneridentifies whether the permit belongs to the company or the customer. This is for licenses only.
Permit Numberis the number printed on the permit that was issued by the state or provincial government.
Permit Typeis
the specific type of permit or license being added. You can click
on the Prompt
button to select the permit type from a list.
Prov/State Codeidentifies
the province or state issuing the permit. You can click on the
Prompt button
to select the province or state from a list.
Rate Categoryis
the type of rate to use for the permit, which determines the cost
of the permit. It is optional. You can click on the Prompt
button to select the rate category
from a list.
Reportableidentifies
whether or not the permit is reportable in the fuel tax system.
This is for licenses only. You can click on the Prompt
button to select the flag from
a list. Valid values are:
- Yes
- No
- No - Weight/Distance Calculation,
which identifies that the unit is non-reportable but that weight/distance
tax will be calculated.
Typeidentifies whether the permit is full-plated or prorated. This is for licenses only.

the specific unit for which the permit is being added. You can
