Customer internal descriptions

This option allows you to work with internal descriptions for customers if the Screen Selector Search business parameter has been set to allow customer searches with or without suffixes. Note that manual charges, miscellaneous charges, and consolidated billing do not use this functionality.

  1. At the EMMS main menu, select Customer | Customers. The Work With Customers display screen appears.
  2. Click View Internal Description. The Customer Internal Description change screen appears, listing all customers with internal descriptions.
  3. Click Add plus.jpg. The Customer Internal Description add screen appears.
  4. Fill in the fields as required.
  5. Click Enter enter.jpg to save the information.
