External GL accounts for Interdivisional Billing

The external interdivisional cost accounts do not exist in the Enrich Financials chart of accounts. They are used only as an identifier to translate into the external system's accounts.

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Customer | Interdivisional Billing | External Interface Setup. The Work With External Interface Types display screen appears.
2. Click G/L Accounts . The Display External G/L Accounts screen appears.
3. Click Change . The Edit External GL Accounts change screen appears.
4. Click Add . The Edit External GL Accounts add screen appears.
5. Fill in the fields as required.

   External Accountis the GL account code used on the external division's system.

   External Account Descriptionis a short description of the external GL account.

   Additional Info 1is any additional information you wish to record about the external account.

   Additional Info 2is any additional information you wish to record about the external account.

6. Click Enter to save the accounts.
7. Click Exit twice to return to the Work With External Interface Types display screen.
