Reading interface definition

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Interfaces | Reading Interface | Reading Interface Definition. The Reading Interface Definition change screen appears.
2. Click Add . The Reading Interface Definition add screen appears.
3. Fill in the fields as required.

   Clear File Afterflags whether or not the input field should be cleared once the download is completed. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the flag from a list.

   Input File Nameis the name of the download input file. For CSV, this should be FFLFCPP.

   Interface IDis the name of the reading interface. If uploading a CSV file, this should be ENRICHCSV.

   LTD Or Curidentifies whether the readings downloaded from this interface are life-to-date readings or current readings. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the reading type from a list.

   Metric Typeidentifies the type of readings downloaded from this interface. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the metric type from a list.

   Output Libraryis the name of the system library where your FFLFCPP file resides. For ASP customers, this will be XXXEMMSDTA, where XXX is the 3-digit prefix for your user ID.

   Pass To Ftaxflags whether or not readings downloaded from this interface should be passed to the Fuel Tax system. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the flag from a list.

   Pass To LRflags whether or not readings downloaded from this interface should be passed to the Lease Rental system. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the flag from a list.

   Pass To Shopflags whether or not readings downloaded from this interface should be passed to the Shop system (EMMS). You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the flag from a list.

   UOMis the unit of measure to be used for the readings if the Use Unit UOM field is set to No. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the unit of measure from a list.

   Use Unit UOMflags whether or not the equipment unit's unit of measure should be used for these readings. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the flag from a list.

4. Click Enter to save the new interfaces.
