Navigation action header

Action lists are set up to allow quick access to additional functionality in some areas of the system, e.g. item master actions, vehicle master actions, etc. These action lists can be modified to suit your particular business needs.

The action header identifies the name that will appear on an action list. It also establishes links to the specific items that will appear on the action list.

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | System | Navigation Action Header. The Edit Navigation Header change screen appears.
2. Click Add . The Edit Navigation Header add screen appears.
3. Fill in the fields as required.

   Codeis a unique code used to identify a particular action list.

   Nameis the name of the action list.

   Typeidentifies whether this is an action list, header navigation, or detail navigation. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the type from a list.

4. Click Enter to save the information.
5. Click Change to return to the Edit Navigation Header change screen.
6. Right-click on the new action list and select Change Navigation Lines. The Navigation Line change screen appears.
7. Click Add . The Navigation Line add screen appears.
8. Fill in the fields as required.

   Navigation Item Codeis the specific action item to be included on the list. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the item from a list.

   Required Actionflags whether or not some action is required when the item is selected. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the flag from a list.

9. Click Enter to save the action list items.
10. Click Exit twice to return to the menu.
