GL sub-system direct post

This option allows you to arrange for specified GL sub-systems to bypass the GL batch post period and post into the open GL period in reference category #5005.

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Interfaces | Assist Interface Programs | GL Sub-system Direct Post. The Sub-system Direct Posting change screen appears.
2. Click Add . The Sub-system Direct Posting add screen appears.
3. Fill in the fields as required.

   Source Documentis the sub-system whose transactions will be posted. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the sub-system from a list. Possible values are:
       - Equipment Journal Vouchers
       - Depreciation Expense
       - Permit & HVUT Amortization
        - Overhead Allocations/Chargebacks
        - Reversing J/E's
        - Interest Chargebacks

   Direct Post- when set to Y, transactions will be posted into the open period and year in reference category 5005. When set to N, the transactions will be posted into the open period and year in reference category 5075 (sub-system open period). You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the flag from a list.

4. Click Enter to save the sub-systems.
5. Click Exit to return to the menu.
