API interfaces

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Interfaces | API Interfaces. The Edit API Features change screen appears.
2. Click Add . The Edit API Features add screen appears.
3. Fill in the fields as required.

   APIis the code identifying the particular API interface. You can press F4 in the field to select the interface from a list.

   Statusflags whether or not the API interface is turned on. You can click in the field then press F4 to select the status from a list.

   Nameis the name of the program that is called to run the interface. This is provided by Enrich Software Corp.

   Descriptionis a brief description of the interface.

4. Click Enter to save the new interfaces.
5. Click Change to return to the Edit API Features change screen.
6. To work with field protection rules for an interface, if required:
   1. Right-click on the API and select Field Protection Rules. The Edit (API Name) Field Protection Rules change screen appears.
   2. This screen will list different fields for each interface. Whichever fields are listed, you can choose to allow or disallow editing by clicking on Yes or No.
   3. Click Enter to save any changes.
   4. Click Exit to return to the Edit API Features change screen.
7. Click Exit to return to the menu.
