Year mnemonics

1. At the Asset Management main menu, select Administration | Tables | Equipment | Mnemonics | Year. The Year Mnemonics change screen appears.
2. Click Add . The Year Mnemonics add screen appears.
3. Fill in the fields as required.

   Yearis the 4-digit year an equipment unit might have been made.

   Mnemonicis the short-cut code to appear in position 1 of the group code for the specified year of manufacture. This is usually the same abbreviation used to represent the model year in a vehicle identification number (VIN).

4. Click Enter to save the mnemonics.
