Guaranteed buy back information for a unit

1. At the Asset Management main menu, select Equipment | Equipment. The Display Equipment screen appears.
2. Right-click on the unit and select Action List. The Asset Master action list screen appears.
3. Click Guaranteed Buy Back.
   • If no guaranteed buy back information exists for the unit, the Add Guaranteed Buy Back screen appears.
   • 1. Click Yes, then Process. The Guaranteed Buy Back add screen appears.
     2. Fill in the fields as required.

        Guaranteed Buy Back Typeidentifies whether the guaranteed buy back is open or closed.

        Guaranteed Buy Back Dateis the date the guaranteed buy back goes into effect. You can click on the calendar button to select the date.

        Maximumis the metric type that will be used to measure the maximum distance/duration the vehicle can have attained before guaranteed buy back. You can click on the Prompt button to select the metric type from a list.

        Amountis the maximum units (e.g. maximum miles) the vehicle can have attained before guaranteed buy back.

        UOMis the unit of measure the buy back amount is measured in. You can click on the Prompt button to select the unit of measure from a list.

        Buy Back Valueis the amount the unit will be bought back for, to 2 decimal places.

     3. Click Enter to save the information.
   • If guaranteed buy back information exists for the unit, the Guaranteed Buy Back display screen appears.
   • 1. Click Change . The Guaranteed Buy Back change screen appears.
     2. Make any changes required.
     3. Click Enter to save the changes.
     4. To delete the guaranteed buy back record:
        1. Click Delete . The Confirm Delete of GBB Information screen appears.
        2. Click Confirm. The guaranteed buy back information for the specified unit will be deleted.
