Equipment meter information

1. At the Asset Management main menu, select Equipment | Equipment. The Display Equipment screen appears.
2. Right-click on the unit and select Meter. The Display Equipment Meters screen appears, listing all meters that are defined for the unit.
3. Click Change . The Equipment Meters & Readings change screen appears.
4. Make any changes required.
5. Click Enter to save the changes.
6. To add new meters to the unit, click Add . The Equipment Meters & Readings add screen appears.
7. Fill in the fields as required.

   Metric Typeis the type of measurement that is to be taken. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the metric type from a list.

   UOMidentifies how the values are measured for this metric (e.g. miles, kilometers, etc.). You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the unit of measure from a list.

   Dateis the date of the metric reading.

   Timeis the time of day the reading was taken.

   Readingis the actual meter reading.

   LTD Readingis the unit's life-to-date reading.

   Read On WOflags whether this metric must be read, can be optionally read, or should not be read when a work order is created for this unit. If 'Do Not Read' is selected, the meter will not display on work orders. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the flag from a list.

   Read On Contractflags whether this metric must be read, can be optionally read, or should not be read at the start and end of a contract for this unit. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the flag from a list.

8. Click Enter to save the meters.
