Change unit information
- At the Asset Management main menu, select Equipment
| Equipment. The Display
Equipment screen appears.
- Right-click on the unit and select Display.
The Display Equipment
screen appears.
- Click Change
. The Edit Equipment
change screen appears.
- Change any fields as required.
- Click Enter
to save the changes.
- If the facility has been changed and if roster entries exist
in Entered status for the unit, the Reassign
WR Repair Facility enter screen appears.
- To move all roster entries in Entered status for the unit
to the new facility:
- Click Move all
WR entries to new facility.
- Click Enter
. The roster entries
will be moved and the facility change will be completed.
Any associated work planner entries will also be changed.
If the department of the roster entry doesn't exist in
the new facility, the roster entry will be assigned to
the first department it finds in the facility.
- To move Entered roster entries matching the from facility
to the new facility:
- Click Move only
the WR entries matching the "from" facility.
- Click Enter
. The appropriate roster
entries will be moved and the facility change will be
completed. Any associated work planner entries will also
be changed. If the department of the roster entry doesn't
exist in the new facility, the roster entry will be assigned
to the first department it finds in the facility.
- To leave Entered roster entries for the unit unchanged:
- Click Do not move
any WR entries.
- Click Enter
. The facility change
will be completed, but no roster entries will be changed.
