Internal customer descriptions

This option allows you to work with internal descriptions for customers if the Screen Selector Search business parameter has been set to allow customer searches with or without suffixes. Note that manual charges, miscellaneous charges, and consolidated billing do not use this functionality.

  1. At the Asset Management main menu, click on the Customer button. The Work With Customers display screen appears.
  2. Click View Internal Description. The Customer Internal Description change screen appears, listing all customers with internal descriptions.
  3. Make any changes, as required.
  4. Click Enter enter.jpg to save the changes.
  5. To add internal descriptions for customers, click Add plus.jpg. The Customer Internal Description add screen appears.
  6. Fill in the fields as required.
  7. Click Enter enter.jpg to save the internal descriptions.
