Customer repair codes

This option allows you to set up the customer's repair codes for existing VMRS tasks.

1. At the Asset Management main menu, click the Customer button. The Work With Customers display screen appears.
2. Right-click on the customer and select Repair Codes. The Customer Repair Codes display screen appears.
3. To change the repair codes:
   1. Click Change . The Customer Repair Codes display screen appears.
   2. Make any changes required.
   3. Click Enter to save the changes.
4. To add a customer repair code:
   1. Click Show All/Selected to show all tasks.
   2. Find the task to be added and fill in the fields for that task.

      Repair Codeis the code used by the customer to identify the specific repair.

      Repair Descriptionis the description used by the customer for the specific repair.

   3. Click Enter to save the new repair code.
5. To copy repair codes from another customer to this one:
   1. Click Copy . The Copy From Another Customer - Repair Codes screen appears.
   2. Select the customer whose codes should be copied.
   3. Click Enter . The repair codes will be added or changed.
