Add a usage pool

1. At the Asset Management main menu, click on the Customer button. The Work With Customers display screen appears.
2. Right-click on the customer and select Usage Pools. The Edit Usage Pools change screen appears.
3. Click Add . The Add Customer Usage Pool enter screen appears.
4. Fill in the fields as required.

   Pool Codeis a code identifying the usage pool, followed by a description of the pool.

   Pool Contract Sectionis the contract section to be affected by the pool. Only variable sections are allowed.

   Pool Metric Typeis the metric type applicable to the section.

   Billing Cycleis the billing cycle for the pool. You can click on the Prompt button to select the billing cycle from a list.

   Standard Poolflags whether or not this is a standard pool.

   Pool Effective Dateis the date the pool goes into effect. You can click on the calendar button to select the date.

5. Click Enter to save the new pool.
