Add an asset depreciation posting run

1. At the Asset Management main menu, select Assets / Asset Level Depreciation | Depreciation Posting. The Depreciation Posting Run Control display screen appears.
2. Click Add . The Create Depreciation Posting enter screen appears.
3. Fill in the fields as required.

   Depreciation Posting Dateis the effective date of the posting. You can click on the calendar button to select the date.

   Companyis a specific company the posting is for. It defaults to your default company. Leave blank for all. You can click on the Prompt button to select the company from a list.

   Facilityis a specific facility the posting is for. It defaults to your default facility. Leave blank for all. You can click on the Prompt button to select the facility from a list.

   Pool Typeis a specific pool type the posting is for. Leave blank for all. You cannot enter both a pool type and a pool. You can click on the Prompt button to select the pool type from a list.

   Poolis a specific pool or pool list (you can select multiple pools on the selection screen) that the posting is for. Leave blank for all. You cannot enter both a pool type and a pool/pool list. You can click on the Prompt button to select the pool(s) from a list.

4. Click Enter . The Confirm prompt appears.
5. Click Confirm.
   • The job is submitted to batch.
   • A record is created in the asset depreciation posting control file.
   • The create function will get the Posting Run Number from the Enrich next number control file.
   • The status of the record will be set to Create in Progress.
   • When the job completes, the posting run control status will be changed to Created.
