Standard specifications table

Standard specifications defining the company's standard offerings can be defined to Enrich. These define a group of specification codes. This grouping would typically represent a model or a requirement for a specific customer. The customer may be specified on the standard specification, but it is optional. These can then be attached to an equipment order/requisition and modified as required.

1. At the Asset Management main menu, select Administration | Tables | Acquisition | Standard Specification. The Edit Standard Specification change screen appears.
2. Click Add . The Edit Standard Specification add screen appears.
3. Fill in the fields as required.

   Standard Spec Codeis a code identifying a standard specification.

   Descriptionis a short description of the standard specification, e.g. Freightliner tractor.

   Customeris a specific customer that the standard specification is for. It is optional. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the customer from a list.

4. Click Enter to save the standard specification.
5. To work with details of a standard specification:
   1. Click Change . The Edit Standard Specification change screen appears.
   2. Right-click on the standard spec and select Details. The Edit Standard Spec Detail change screen appears.
   3. Click Add . The Edit Standard Spec Detail add screen appears.
   4. Fill in the fields as required.

      Spec Codeidentifies a specification to be included on the standard spec. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the spec code from a list.

      Spec Valueis the value required for the specification, where applicable; e.g. the number of pounds of load the front axle must be able to handle.

      UOMis the units the spec value is measured in, e.g. pounds. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the unit of measure from a list.

   5. Click Enter to save the specifications.
   6. Click Exit to return to the Edit Standard Specification change screen.
