Lien types table

The lien types table defines the liens that are to be tracked against assets. Multiple liens may be defined for a unit, distinguished by the lien types defined in this table.

1. At the Asset Management main menu, select Administration | Tables | Acquisition | Lien Types. The Display Lien Type screen appears.
2. Click Change . The Edit Lien Type change screen appears.
3. Click Add . The Edit Lien Type add screen appears.
4. Fill in the fields as required.

   Typeis a code identifying a particular type of lien, e.g. CHATT.

   Descriptionis a short description of the lien type, e.g. chattel mortgage.

5. Click Enter to save the lien types.
