Proposals are often prepared for clients before a decision to acquire equipment is made. Proposals allow you to work out estimated costs and revenues before you make an acquisition commitment, and they can be revised as often as required. Once a proposal has been agreed upon, you can process it to automatically generate the appropriate requisition and lease.
Proposal templates, created in the Lease Rental module, control the content of the proposal screen.
When you process a proposal, you may a) create a requisition and then b) create a lease. A requisition may be created once per revision. A lease may not be created until the unit on the requisition has been received.
When you create a requisition, Enrich will give you a requisition number. The Requisition option on the Work With Proposals display screen allows you to either display the requisition (if it has not been approved) or work with the details to put them on a PO, receive the unit, record the invoice, etc. When you process the proposal a second time, you activate the lease.
